WINTER HOURS
Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays, open Monday, Thursday, Friday 10am - 6pm. Saturday & Sunday 9am to 6pm. 


Weekend trips.

Shore dive on Saturday morning - 9am .

Boat trips (two dives) minimum 4 people. Please book in advance (don't forget to leave a contact number) & ring in at 5pm the day before your trip to catch the latest forecast & what's happening.

The Frigate Wellington (F69) is now in several pieces. Each section is a good wreck dive.

 

 

Trips Overseas.

The next trip (winter 2010) is to the Solomon Islands - WW2 wrecks, destroyers, B52s, Betty bombers, submarines. mantas, sharks, coral.  



Next Open Course (with places available) starts first week of each month. 11 sea dives (all scuba gear & suits provided) for $450!!

1. InDepth Free diving course: run by Dave Mullens.

 

Dave is  28 years old and  currently lives in Wellington. He was a spearfisher for several years and broke the world record for striped marlin before taking up competitive freediving in 2004. Since then he has set 12 national freediving records and 4 world records. He was ICARE male freediver of the year in 2008. His current goal is to break the world constant weight record, which is held by Martin Stepanek of Czechoslovakia at 122m.
