The shop is now on winter hours until November’ 24. Open Monday 9am – 6pm Tuesday closed Wednesday closed Thursday 9am – 6pm Friday 9am – 6pm Saturday 9am – 9am – 6pm Open every weekend right through the year .

The new Island Bay Divers website for snorkelers is now online – see www.gosnorkel.co.nz. The site is aimed at new snorkelers just starting out and diving sites within the Taputeranga Marine Reserve

SeeseaTV marine u/w cam and Vic University cam are both down at the moment.

Hopefully both these cams get back online soon. We’ll advise if & as soon as this happens – ‘watch this space’…….

IBD donates $1,000 for Toa to find his pod.

Unlucky Toa (a 6 month old orca) beached on rocks 11/7 looking for stingrays. Luckily a ‘good human’ found him. The local community/ wild life organisations swung in behind Toa and set up a rehab enclosure for him until they can find his tribe’s pod. Two people are in the water with him on one […]
