Air Fills
Air Fills $12.00 or buy a 10 fill card for $100.
Our Bauer compressor pumps 30 cu ft / minute. Our storage banks hold 65,000 litres of air at 330 bar pressure. We have the shortest ‘queue time’ for fills of any Wellington shop. Air purity is checked by NZU every three months, and always meets their highest standard.
Air Cylinder Testing
Island Bay Divers is an New Zealand Underwater (NZU) approved air cylinder testing station. We have been testing tanks for 35 years. We guarantee your tank will be tested within 24 hours.
Cylinder test rates are:

We only hire scuba to qualified divers – a deposit and conditions apply. Please bring your scuba certification.
No certification is required for divers hiring snorkel gear.
Equipment Service and Repair
We provide servicing and repair of all dive equipment. Some items, such as dive computers , are forwarded to specialist centers.
Service charges depend on parts cost and labour but charges are usually around :

Products
We carry over 800 different stock items. If you require us to order something in, delivery is normally 24 hours.
We offer drysuits from top international manufacturers Scubapro, Aqualung, Bare, Whites, Waterproof, Cressi Sub, Northern Divers, Santi, Mares – Trilaminate, neoprene or crushed neoprene models in custom made or off the shelf.
Wetsuits and semi drys are available from Aqualung/US Divers, Cressi-sub, Mares, Land & Sea, Seaquel, Prodive, Waterproof, Pinnacle. We also offer made to measure wetsuits.
Cylinders – we stock both aluminum & steel with K valve or Din valves. Steel cylinders in 8, 10, 12, 15 liters, Aluminum in 19, 40, 95 cu ft. Brands are Faber, Catalina and Luxfer.
Spearfishing & free diving : we stock Rob Allen, Cressi, Mares, Esclapez, Epsealon, & Seac brands
