The next learn to dive (‘Open Water’) course starts 11/11. Four nights for pool work at the Kilbernie Aquatic Centre – Wellington’s deepest pool. Two Sundays for the sea dives and the option of another extra eight dives after that if you want. The academics are completed by e-learning (choose either PC or tablet format), so you nominate the time & place for completing these modules.
There is a maximum of four students to an instructor who has an experienced assistant helping them.
Once you have completed your training, there are dives every Saturday morning at 9am, so you can retain your skill level, increase your experience level, meet new divers and dive new sites.
In Summer there are dives on Thursdays at 6pm as well.
